Privacy Policy

GAMA Native ("the App") is an open-source agent-based modeling application for Android developed by the GAMA Project. This privacy policy explains what data the App accesses and how it is used.

Data Collection

The App does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to the developer or any third party. There are no analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs integrated into the App.

Permissions

• Internet — Used only when you explicitly load a model or data file from a URL (e.g., json_file("https://...")). Network requests are made solely to addresses you specify. No data is sent to the developer's servers.
• Storage — The App allows you to choose a workspace folder on your device to read and write GAML model files and simulation results. Files are accessed only within the folder you select. The App does not access files outside your chosen workspace.

How the App Works

• All simulations run entirely on your device.
• No model code, simulation results, or usage data are uploaded anywhere.
• The App does not create accounts, require login, or collect identifiers.
• No data is shared with third parties.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

If this privacy policy is updated, the revised version will be posted on this page with an updated date.
