GAMA Mobile ("the App") is an open-source agent-based modeling tool developed by UMMISCO/IRD. This privacy policy explains how the App handles data.

Data Collection

The App does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data.

The App runs entirely on your device. All simulation data, models, and logs remain on your local storage and are never sent to external servers.

Internet Usage

The App uses an internet connection solely to:

• Download the initial simulation environment (rootfs) on first launch from GitHub Releases

No analytics, telemetry, tracking, or advertising networks are used.

Permissions

The App requests the following permissions:

• Internet — to download the simulation environment on first launch
• Foreground Service — to keep the simulation running in the background
• Notifications — to show simulation status

Data Storage

All data (simulation models, logs, configuration) is stored locally on your device within the App's private storage directory. No data is stored on external servers.

Third-Party Services

The App does not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted at this URL.
